A Life of Purpose
People love to talk about purpose. “Find your purpose… find your purpose”. For a lot of people it is not easy to understand what that truely means. I once heard it explainded this way —> Your purpose is at the cross-section of your proficiency and your desires. At the time, I had to look into what both proficiency and desires meant in a literal sense to truly understand the statement. To be proficient in something, you must be good at it and to have a desire for something, you must want it. Understanding this helped me to realign my actions to seek out my purpose.
Profusely seeking knowledge was a key element in understanding what my purpose is. It broadend my view of the world and opened my mind to many different ideas that circulate the aether. Through self-study of different topics pertaining to and not pertaining to myself or things that peaked my interest, a refinded version of myself was chiseled. A more developed version of myself was born. Not overnight, but over years. And over this period, the compound effect took place. Exponential growth, seemingly overnight to others. But I knew the small changes I made consistently is what got me here.
It is cliche at this point, but it started within. The interal work reconfigured my external reality. Things were just… different. I thought different, I acted different, I got different results. I started to begin to think that I am worthy for more. I started to see that I am the creator of my life and not an unconcious observer.
All of the greatest people to have ever lived were concious action takers, thinkers, and creators. They knew that we all have the capacity to do great things. It was just a matter of when the individual was ready to do the work and become concious again. That means questioning everything people try to convince you as being true. Challange anyone who stands in your way.
The business owners we work with fall under this same umbrella of concious action takers who have taken control of their life to bring their dreams to reality. And they do it unselfishly — the most commendable of individuals. Through all of the challanges, they persevere. This is something we all aspire to as Tampa residents.
I use this as a testimony to inspire you, the reader, to keep changing. Keep growing. This is also a testimony to show my future self that you did it. You are living in your pupose. Living by the set of values and principles you made for yourself. Now you are acheiving all of the things you have always dreamed about.
I encourage you to do the same if you have not already. Decide today what you truley desire for this life and don’t take your mind off of it. Have the single focus, the singlemindedness that the bible talks about. The world is yours. You are the creator of your lifes outcomes. Set parapmeters on your life in regards to your values, prinicples, and goals. Center it around ideas that enforce collective goodness rather and divisive evil. And never give up on what you believe in. If no one believes in you, just know… I believe in you. You were made to acheive great things for yourself and for the people in your life.
